A Perl version of PW-Patcher or: PW-Patcher for Linux

Features

• Nothing fancy, just the basic functionality:
  • giving serial numbers
  • patching files
  • creating attached files

Requirements

• Perl 5
• The Perl module XML::Parser
• expat
• GNU uudecode
• The files palmpass.xml and palmpass.dtd which can be found in alt.binaries.warez.palmpilot

Installation and Configuration

• Put the files palmpass.xml and palmpass.dtd one of the following directories:
  • $HOME/lib/pw-patcher
  • /usr/local/lib/pw-patcher
  • /usr/lib/pw-patcher
  • /lib/pw-patcher
  • any other directory you specify in the PALMPASSPATH environment variable
